I acquired a pump that turns out to not be what it was advertised so I’m looking to identify a few of the parts and then try to salvage this project. When acquired the pump was mostly disassembled, advertised as a Bowser 575, and all significant parts appeared to be included. After getting it home, I tried a test assembly to see how everything fit, only to discover some parts don’t fit! The doors fit size wise, height and width, but the sight glass opening doesn’t align with the sight glass(too low as seen in photo). I’m sure the doors have not been cut down or modified as that would easily be noticeable. The other thing is these door bottoms don’t have as large a bump-out as the 575 doors I’m seeing, but I see nothing in Jack Sim’s book with doors resembling what I have unless they’re possibly not from a Bowser? The top also doesn’t have a cutout to accept the hose nozzle. Any help identifying what these parts actually are would go a ways in helping me determine what needs to be replaced.

Post a photo of the frame without the sheet metal. Someone maybe able to identify it. You may have been sold a bunch of parts.

Maybe someone cut down a tall door trying to make it fit your short pump.

The nozzle side of that looks like a Bowser 585 or 595.

The sight glass on a Bowser 575 is not centered in the opening at the top of the door. There is a metal bezel that has the opening offset toward the top. A glass goes in between that is lettered "Glass must be full..." so there needs to be space for that lettering below the sight glass opening.

See pic below.

Here's a link to a repro sightglass opening bezel.

Here's a link to a replacement sightglass outer window that shows the lettering.
