Hi, The lubster is from I believe the late 40's Early 50's. I've seen two sizes this one, and a smaller version. They come in different oil weights, grease and waste oil types. Think I have owned eight of them, never paid more than $100 for one. These I would say are fairly uncommon, but I live in Oregon too, so not sure how rare they are elsewhere. Looks like this one is dented so adjust from there. By the way check if there is a drum inside, a rare drum could be worth more than the lubster. Good luck
