Sign is painted metal and measures 104" x 11". Flying A symbol is reflective decal. Bought sign 30 yrs ago as NOS as was still in original wrapper. 8 mounting holes with 6 still covered by original paint (I uncovered the 2 to display in garage). 2 shipping labels on the back read as "Tidewater Oil Company/ Charles Drinkwater/ Klamath Highway/ Lakeview, Oregon". I did some research and found a father and son by the same name who had the Phillips distributorship in Lakeview in the 1960's. As this sign was never displayed, I am dating it to around 1966 when Phillips took over Flying A. Possible to be one of the last Flying A signs? Asking $950 (not including shipping)
