Thought I would point out a few of the bad links on the sites list that need to be updated when someone gets time:

Directory Home > Vendors, New or Reproduction > Pump Restoration Parts

=======================

Nifty Fiftys Pump Works
N.O.S. New Old Stock Used and Reproduction Parts For Collectible Gas Pumps, Eco air meters, parking meters, drive in speakers, service literature, Bennett
nifty50s.net/

- shows a standard spam link page now.

=======================

Gas Pump Colors
Paints for restoration of gas pumps. Original color formulas or custom matched to your sign.
gaspumpcolor.com

- Shows CLOSED at the top of the page with nothing else.

=======================

Service Station Nostalgia
Alberta, Canada based supplier of Antique Gas Pump Restorations and Supplies
ssn.ab.ca/

Not for sure about this site – man I hope they are still open but for the last few days I received a error pages. If anyone knows of a contact number for them please let me know!!!

The nifty fifty was here in GA.
It was started by Skip McCook years ago.
Skip bought my parts biz out about 12 yrs ago.
He sold all his stuff to Lee Pergle a long time ago, and the site belongs to Pergle as far as I know.
It has basically been a dead site for years........if that is the same site you are talking about.

gaspumpcolor.com WILL be up and running some time in the future. The owner has moved to the southwest and will get that site (and others he owns) back up once he gets settled in.

Travis:

I make a 13.5" 'Marathon' lens - but it's the 'Red Indian' version. It matches my regular "Red Indian" lenses - but it is after Matathon bought them out and was converting over.

In addition, I make the 'Marathon Blue' in a 15.0" size along with the matching "Hi-Test" version. And I make a 'Multi-Power Running Indian' Marathon lens too.

Later . . .

UPDATE:

I was extremely saddened that SSN might be out of business because I really wanted a 13 1/2 Marathon Blue Anti-Knock Red Indian globe. Since no one makes one in that size I decided to call Service Station Nostalgia in Alberta, Canada’s business number tonight.

They have a phone message that says they are closed for the summer and will re-open around September because they are moving. I will try to call back tomorrow during business hours and see if I can get a scoop or talk them into selling a Blue Anti-Knock.

Maybe they moved and did not get their website renewal notice! I will keep everyone posted on what I learn.

If anything I would love to purchase their screens and machines used to make the globes they have – if you have never seen their stuff you might have missed out – they have some really nice reproduction globes that no one else carries like North Star, B/A, and the one that I really want.

Good work Travis, please do keep us posted on your findings regarding SSN. I "WANT" Northstar lenses.
