I'm sure some of you (maybe all of you ?) know what this is......I've showed it to several people I know around here, had lots of good guesses but no one got it ! saw it on ebay, had to have it ! do you know ? subject initials may give it away ! Z

Cigrette lighter fluid penny pump.
Had one years ago that was near mint & plated. They were made either plated or painted.

These Van-Lite lighter fluid dispensers were made by Arthur C. Kautz of Lockport, New York. He made them before and after WW II. I bought all the parts his wife had years after he passed away. She even had his prototype which I was fortunate enough to get along with 8 x 10 glossy photos he took of all the parts and lists of his vendors. I have boxes of NOS parts. Contact me some evening if you want more information. The plated models were made after the war.
