Yes this had a 30 gallon barrel under it...I guess you would fill the barrel and the change it out...or dump it in the Creek....*laugh*. I want to look up more information on them , and kinda woundered what the techincal or trade name was for one of them. I think it would dress up nice and look sweet beside a redone pump in the same colors.

I saw one exactly like this used (in the 60's & 70's) in the ford dealership where my dad worked for nearly 30 years. It was the "catch can" for used motor oil. You raised the car up on the lift placed this under the oil pan and removed the drain plug... It had "Rotunda" decals on it (typically rotunda was the name ford stuck on many of their service tools, although they were usually made by other suppliers)
