anyone know if i paint my g&b 65 sinclair green and put the 12" sinclair decal that has the bars on it,would be right image for that era?every original 65 i have seen always has socony plates on em.Did other companies use these pumps?thankyou. Mike

The globe and decal with the vertical bars would be correct. According to the pump restoration book by Henderson and Benjamin the 8" or 12" decal should say "oils" (centered on the lower body of the pump) and the globe "oils" or "gasoline".
Pump color should be solid red or solid green.
This combination was used from 1918-1926.
