What is value of one that is complete with visi guage, near mint original faces, original glass, reset knob, etc. the ONLY issue is some rot on bottom skins. otherwise, a super straight pump.

Gasteek...I'd have to say $1800-$2000. From a top-end retail standpoint, I've been getting $2400+ on good, clean unrestored ones for 3-4 years. I'd buy the pump you are describing for $1500 every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Whats the difference in an 850 and 950? I notice the 850 comes both square and round and my 850 is square

The 950 had some redesigned internal parts-
Quoting from one of their bulletins-
"Our Old Type Model 850 Electric Meter Pump was introduced in the early part of 1930 and at the time was recognized as the greatest advancement in the development of Electrically Operated Meter Gasoline Pumps.
Through extensive research and development our Engineering Department has since succeeded in creating a greatly simplified and more compact design and arrangement of the operating units comprising the Piston Displacement Meter, Regulating Valve and Air Eliminator. This later development eliminates numerous parts and provides greatly simplified operation."
It goes on for an additional four paragraphs but you get the idea. The literature also shows an Old 850 before and after the conversion.

This is the top off a volumeter. This came out of a pump that was square, and had 950-A tags riveted over where it usually says 850  It had pistons and rocker arms and valves like a car engine. The older ones like Ron is descibing had a chain drive meter, this one had a chain drive from the motor to the pump. Joe

Tokheim called this the "Model 890 Conversion Unit" and was "available for all pumps from Serial Numbers 347794 to 500000 at a very moderate cost, and can be installed with less than two hours labor."
