I run my great grandfather's store that he opened in 1884. They delivered his first order of gas by horse and wagon! We were a Standard Oil station and country store still open for business (but don't sell gas anymore.) I am taking things back to the old days. We still have two visible gravity pumps and I have several old signs. I just had a guy bring me a pole for my 88" wide ESSO sign..just like the pole we used to have. I am looking for the 'sleeve' or hanger to go around the sign so I can hang it on the arm of the pole. Any thoughts on where I might find one? Or where/how I could get one made? Look forward to learning more and sharing a bit of my stuff. (I uploaded a jpg of my sign pole but doesn't seem to be showing up. Might need a hint or two on what I need to do)

Thanks! I am getting everything ready to pour the concrete pad...ordered four 36" x 1" all threads and nuts and purchased rebar for stability. My pad will be 28 x 34 inches....will be mixing up lots of concrete, but I need the exercise anyway. Pole, arm and chains have been wire brushed and first coat of primer applied. Took a sample of red to a home improvement store to 'copy' and it came out a different shade of red, but I suppose it is not all that important. If anyone knows a 'code' or number for ESSO or STANDARD OIL red I would appreciate the info.....(and blue for that matter.)
