On a recent dig this weekend, came across this piece, the sun beat me to the punch and completely burnt the paint off! At least the rack is useable and I have a feeling their are many more treasures underneath the pile! (same place the Kendall oil rack came from, recent post)

If anyone has this tin sign and wishes to sell it please let me know, now that I have the rack I must make it complete!

Is the sign remotely worth the effort in intensively painting the new scenery over the top of the old as their appears to be a some-what template?

any rack is a good rack.. o.k.. so the sign is shot.. from what i can make out by the photo, it was a texaco marine.. probably be rather pricy if you was to find another... so... two options.. paint over the one you got or copy an original... me ???... keep huntin' for the real deal.... just my 3 cents...

I think I would buy a repo [if they make that size] to use while looking for an original.

OR,

you could sell ME the rack, so that I can put my sign on it !!!!
