There is a guy here in the area that has 2 0r 3 Pre-visibles. They are AMERICAN A, and other are AMERICAN 1. Is there any interest or market for these pumps??. Warren

A friend come over, looks out at your garage, sees your Wayne 60 and says "nice pump." The looks over at your pre-visible and says "what is that."

Warren I like the pre-visibles, but I'm cheap and it's a long way to drive. I've been looking for the bottom half of an American 102. Richard

I have always liked the blind pumps and have at least a dozen or more of them.

I love pre-visibles, especially the transition models with an attached visible glass cylinder. I rarely see any in the area with I live, southern Missouri. Automobiles were not widely used in this area of the Ozarks until the late 1920's. Gasoline was usually sold at general stores and the first pumps were visibles. I developed an interest in the old gas pumps when I was in my late teens. I started college at the University of Missouri, Rolla, in 1977. I remember seeing an old pre-visible, curbside pump on a sidewalk in Rolla. I wasn't sure what it was. When I finally figured it out, I found it fascinating.

With every pump made their was a market then and now! I am a 30s thru 50s pump collector but guess what ? I bought a pre-visible last weekend at a local automotive swap. They are cool for what they are and they are affordable still!
