Hi Guys,
One of them Yankee companies (north of the Red River). Organized Delaware 1918. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Branches in Russell KS,
Pampa TX, and Kansas City MO. President H.F.
Wilcox. Acreage in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas produced average 6000 bbl daily in 1928
(per 1929 Petroleum Register). Refinery in Bristow, Oklahoma. Products branded "Wilcox",
but the cans you mentioned were probably
"Golden" from later. As unfortunately with so many companies, I don't know when or how they met their demise.
