I have read an old post that gave a few ideas on how to remove old dried latex paint
but was wondering if anyone has had sucess with something recently.
The signs paint is stable and in very good condition to be 80 years old.
The latex that is on it is as hard as a rock. The sign was hanging on the side of a shed
for years with the sun backing the latex. I have soaked it with wet rags for a day but
didn't seem to help. I have had a little results with denatured alcohol but not much.
I have tried Goof Off and it takes off the latex but also starts taking some of the signs paint color.
I even tried a small household steam cleaner the wife had but no results.
I have ordered a Krud kutter product that removes dried latex but don't have it yet.
Thanks
