I bought this little pump years ago and been working on it trying to make it look more pleasing lol
I bought a new face. Glass and a seal for it. But. Now that I'm trying to install it. Zero clue how it should be
Does the seal wrap around the glass? Wrap around the meter? I've put it on both and either way the glass would just float. No way to secure the glass to any of it....I'm stumped

That seal is nothen like the seal i got when bought the face and glass
This seal only has a single groove one one side. The thickness of the Grove would leave one to think it's to wrap around the glass. But once again. The glass and seal would float/sandwich 8ts self between the door and meter?

The U' channel rubber goes on the glass. If it has a Rockwell meter in it there's a think metal cover held on with a couple of screws that keep
everything aligned.

Ok so been messing with the setup again. I removed the band thinking the glass would install from the back side of it? Then band slip back onto the meter.....and that is with no seal. So either that's not how the glass installs or the glass is to big to fit (close but to big) and at any rate. It most deff. Would not slip in behind into that band with a seal on the glass

...I think I have an original face and glass like that... sure looks familiar, anyway...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
