hello all I’m new here. I picked myself up a pump and I am very interested in restoring it. I’m trying to figure out what kind it was so I’m reaching out to you all. I believe it’s a Wayne 615 but I could be way off any guidance would be helpful thanks!

after doing some more research, I feel like it’s actually a Boyle-Dayton 79?

I think it is a Boyle Dayton, but not sure what model it is. Could be a 78,79, 83, 87 or 89. All made in 1926. Does it have a hand pump lever coming out of the lower panel about 18" above the floor? Or have the skins been replaced and the lever removed and no hole drilled? Having never owned one like this, I am guessing there are other OG guys with some information to narrow it down. It is definitely a Boyle Dayton. The Wayne's that were made by Boyle Dayton have three gallon sticks and the Boyle Dayton's only have two. The Model would depend on whether it was an air, manual, or combination of the two. Richard

It’s air operated…you can tell from the door. But it’s missed the air mechanism looks like.

Thank you all Im starting to rip it apart and clean up when i have a bit of time, here is a pic of the back. I do not think the skins have been replaced this was a AZ pump thats been kept out of the weather for many years and they do show some dents and painted many times. Ill post some more pics as i get the skins off.
