RetroPetro posted a Tydol picture yesterday of Butlers Garage(page 1618) anyone have any idea how they mounted the "T" style island light off the pump globe?

I'm guessing the pipe passed through the globe and attached to the inside of the pump.

Had to have been. Sheet metal alone wouldn’t support all that.

I'm guessing that too, must have been some type of "harp" inside the globe? Also you would think some type of gasket or drainage to keep water out.

Looks like after blowing up picture the pipe is in front of the globes and attached to the pump.

Looks like it's the real deal. Rod through globe by revere exists.

OK, the above picture is surely from the late 1920's or early 1930's. Not sure if these were by Revere, but a full 10 years before the Sunoco versions.

All the lighting pictured looks fabricated (or at least budget friendly). They're a garage, probably did it all themselves. Not that difficult to drill a hole in the top of the globe body and attach the pipe to the inside of the pump.
