Does this sign look real or is it a fake? I can get better pictures if needed. Thanks for any help on this.Gary

an answer to your question - looks fake, colors don't look correct -

the 29 1/2" version is original ..

it appears the 2nd P in phillips dips down

into the orange further than my example .. ... cool

also first P is different ..

You see fake signs of all kinds, but I haven't been able to find another fake one online.

The location of the mounting holes is also different between the two signs we're seeing in this post. 1957GMC: From your last post above, it sounds like you really want the sign you're looking at to be real. As we all know, in the end, the final decision is yours. However, I would hope you get the seller to take the sign down, so you can inspect and "feel" it up close before making a purchase. John

I actually had a sneaky feeling that it was a fake, I just haven't been able to find any other examples of this particular style sign reproduced like the other versions of Phillips 66 signs. Thanks for the advise from both of you, I appreciate it greatly! Gary
