I doubt it is 1870s, it is probably more like 1900-1905.
Who is the manufacturer, can't read the printing?

It was made by the New York Oil Cabinet Co. It's in great shape, very sturdy and well maintained. I have the item available for sale, and would happily entertain offers. We're located in Northern Wisconsin....we can arrange a pick-up here or perhaps meet a buyer part-way. We're frequently in the Minneapolis area. Please email us at redshed@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your info.
