Outside, you can see where the original Texaco stained glass window has been patched over. Amazingly, the owner found the original window to the building, but will install a duplicate on the building due to its fragile nature and rarity. The original fixture for illuminating the window is still intact.  Around back, you can see the coal bin, adjacent to the rear of the Lube bay, the furnace room window (above the coal bin), and the two restroom windows. Very cool Wes!!! That was a neat station and to see it being restored is very nice! Keep us up to date if you can.

Whoa! Now your singin' my tune! Those vintage motel signs are awesome! The collection of gas station sign poles is great too.

Jim, If you ever get a chance, stop by Bill Abney's towing and ask him to show you his early 50's restored tow truck. One of the best I have ever seen. He keep's it there in the rear garage. He is a super nice guy, and I am sure he would show it to you. I met him a few year's back when I had a flat tire in Hillsboro on my trailor hauling all barn wood for my country store.
