Some friends of mine recently bought an old farm and this old Chevy was left behind. It's been sitting in the same spot since 1980 and most likely will be there another 30 years.

Here's another old Chevy I'm working on buying. It's a one owner truck with a 327, 4-spd and factory air. The camper has been on there from day one.

WENT TO LOOK AT A TRUCK FOR SALE TODAY.
A '53 INT'L SNAPPED A FEW PICS AND THOUGHT I'D SHARE ONE.

I KINDA LIKED IT, BUT I'M A RED TRUCK LOVER. SO I STOPPED AND SNAPPED A SHOT OF THIS '56 INT'L ABOUT A MILE FROM MY HOUSE IN FRONT OF THE SERVICE GARAGE (USED TO BE A TEXACO 40+ YEARS AGO). THE OWNER WASN'T IN, SO I DON'T KNOW THE DEAL ON WHY IT'S THERE. I ALSO LIKE THE GRILL AND HEADLIGHT LOCATION COMPARED TO THE '53-'55 STYLE.

I've got a collection of IH truck emblems. To me,it's interesting to note that the blue PU has the IH emblem in the grille and the red one has International spelled out and the Model Number on the cab.

We don't see many IH PU's out here.I would be all over the blue one to go with my KB-7;love the stepsides.Especially if all four of the hubcaps are there.I've never seen one of those before.

Thanks for posting Doc,BTW,the blue one would become a red one to mathh my KB-7.LOL.

THE BLUE ONE DID HAVE THE "INTERNATIONAL" EMBLEM LIKE THE RED ONE HAS BUT IT WAS NOT THERE AS WELL AS THE MODEL NUMBER....YOU CAN ALMOST SEE THE HOLES.
IT HAS A 6CYL SILVER DIAMOND 220 C.I. ENGINE WITH A 3 ON THE TREE. $5,850
20 YEAR OLD RESTO.

Didn't know this thread was here. Saw a couple the other day and did not stop to take pics. I will have to return and take some for you guys here. I love old trucks too. I would like to get a 53 5 window chevy for the wife.
