Chuck, I don't know the value, but if it's original, it's gonna be pricey. As I recall, it has a "rear view" embossed view on the back side. There is a post that goes up the center between the two halves (front/back) and the post is mounted to a cast iron base. It's been a long time, but I seem to remember a price close to $2k ? How about some feedback from more knowledgeable sign guys? Ray? Dennis?

These were reproduced several years ago. The one shown is not the real thing.

Chuck, The one Chris posted is the one I am used to seeing. I probably should not have said not real, I have never seen one. Value is based on how rare and the condition of the piece. The guy should be able to give you the history, manufacturer and so on. Ask the questions get the answers then verify. The reproductions made of the one like Chris's in that condition I have seen sell for $700/1000. They were not advertised as repos. I recently saw an original on the Coke base sell for $600 but it was only a 5/6. Depending on the sale I would think you could buy an original today for $1200/1500 if it were an 8. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
Mick

The repo ones have sharp edges all the way around them. I had 5 repos and you had to be careful not to cut your self. They looked just like the one Chris posted.
