Hi...I have a texaco oil and grease sample kit and was wondering what it might be worth. I've looked all over the internet and have only found similar items on pay to get a price auction sites. I found this site and you guys seem to be pretty knowledgeable so I thought id ask.....thank you.

I seen one sell for $145 but it was only five bottles. I would guess its gota be worth $250.00 - $400.00

Not sure what the value is for a full set with case. Or, what they have sold for in the past. On ebay have seen full sets in the case advertised from $75- $1500. If they sold or met reserve, I can't say. Seems that someone here was either looking for one or trying to sell one last year, don't believe they got a lot of interest. But, I could be mistaken.

There is a Kendall sample kit on ebay right now, auction # 380113108523 for $475. It has been on there for over a year.

I bought one, WITH the leather sales book that goes with it, for $400 and was pretty pleased.

How about a value of a Skelly one with about 10 bottles. 5 large bottles and 5 small ones? Bottle and labels in good shape with the case being a little worn.

If you have apicture of the Texaco one, post it. Have seen them go for cheap to $$$

I could get pics, its actually a freinds who is internet challenged. I have seen it and it has all of the bottles full of oil and all of the grease tins full of grease. The case is in very good condition, not sure if it has any booklets. If pics would help in getting a more accurate worth I will get them up.

There is a Rev. in Iowa who advertises in "CTO" mag. every issue, wanting to buy sample kits.
