Hi, I am hoping someone might be able to tell me what kind of value this Enco gas can and Texaco drum might have to a collector. I have searched online but can not find any others like these. I am guessing the Enco can is late 50's? And I have no idea of the age of the Texaco drum. I have some idea what the sign might be worth but if anyone has any info or value on it, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Both of these are very common items and have no special value to them. The value would be what ever you could get someone else to pay for them. I was at a farm auction yesterday and the Enco can would have brought about $25, which would have been excellent in the eyes of a collector. The same can on Ebay would have a tough time getting a bid. Remember, in the world of any collectibles, CONDITION IS EVERYTHING. Especially in the realm of gas and oil collectibles. The Texaco can would make a nice garbage can for a shop or garage and would be valued around $10 to $15 or again, whatever you can get someone else to pay.
On another note "WELCOME TO OLD GAS" Theres a lot of information available on this site and you generally have but to ask! Sometimes the answer is slow in coming as we don't all sit glued to the computer, but if you're patient, your questions will generally get answered! We love pictures, so its a very good thing that you are able to post pictures. Its a lot easier to understand a persons problem when theres a picture available!

As I read your post I was thinking the exact thing that Kevin wrote. nothing special about the Texaco. It is an industrial can and is good for a shop garbage can.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I only paid $15 for both the Enco and Texaco cans so I guess I did ok on those. Any idea what the 7ft fiberglass Texaco sign might fetch? Thanks again for welcoming me to the site!

Can't tell what are scratches and what is the flash fromthe camera. You may want to gently clean it (careful not to scratch. It may bring a couple hundred. Shipping can be an issue.

THERE'S A FIBERGLAS TEXACO SITTING IN A MARINA STORAGE BUILDING NOT FAR FROM ME. I OFFERED $150 FOR IT AND WOULDN'T PAY A DOLLAR MORE. IT'S IN GREAT SHAPE TOO.
