Would Pyrex brand be an original glass cylinder for any of the old visable gas pumps? Is $1800 (Jack Sim) the going price for one with original glass and in good condition but could use a restoration?
Thanks,
Mike

Pyrex was not used for gas pump cylinders to the best of my knowledge back in the 20's. There was no need for glass with those physical characteristics. It's more expensive to make.
There were a few vendors (I'm included) selling them for pumps in past 10 years or so since one of the major suppliers of Pyrex is on the east coast of the US.

I have a G&B T176 unrestored with good glass that I would sell for much less than $1800.00.

...I believe I've seen glass marked 'Kromex', but not 'Pyrex'...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Thanks for all the reponses and I will likely pass on the pump and put my energy into another lead.
Thanks!
