I am in the process of completing restoration of my first pump. I am now the owner of five pumps, all in line for restoration and display. I noticed a great posting of ideas on how to get the numbers to turn on computers by installing motors on the bottom. All were great ideas and a version of those ideas will show up in my next restoration.

My question is, can anyone share some ideas as to how they restore the computer to good working condition.

Hi , Greg , the best way for me , take the computter out of the frame ,i take it away from the work area and use air on it first then i put it in an old oil drain pan , an use wd-40 on it with a baby bottle brush , spray the heck out of it , about every 3-4 hours , take turn shaft with vise grips and turn it till it frees , turn it about half way around and spray more 40 on it , work it and keep working it it will free up , when you have as lose as you need it hit it with the air agin to remove the excess wd , hope that helps you buddy good luck ,
