item # on Ebay--370440532721-Shell oil glass jar. Seller says it is vintage and original.An avid Shell collector that i correspond with says they never made a jar like this.

I have seen something like that before at a local auction. I had the same question. I think at that price it's too expensive to gamble.
Looking for Canadian Imperial and Canadian North Star.

Slight possibly it was done during WW2 by a local station [there is writing on the back of round SHELL label]. BUT the Flawless condition tells me it is Newly made to Look OLD.
[I'm really starting to ENJOY my new 28" monitor, can see SO MUCH More details than I could on old 19" monitor].

Well I can't say 100% that they are fake, I can say I saw the same Shell Oil bottles at Hershey two years back along with Hudson oil bottles, now these were fakes, some of the smaller dirt marks were in the same place on all the labels! Does this guy have any Hudson bottles for sale? I'd stay clear.

You wouldn't think there would be a paper label on the lid. Seems a little odd, but I guess anything is possible.
