I am new to site since November.I am attempting to restore a pump that I tore down three or four years ago.To make things more difficult my computer crashed and I lost all pictures I took during tear down.First question,My pump is a Wayne 80 series IT-Z.Are the replacement parts,rubber,glass,crank,etc. the same as a M&S 80?The numbers on the computer wheels are scuffed and scratched.I have seen replacement decals on different vendors sights.How do you put these on the wheels.Does the computer need to be disassembled?Any help will be appreciated.Thank you.

Ron Scobie makes the best looking wheel decals. I disassemble the unit..(Take out the wheels) when I restore a computer. I clean, paint and replace & mark & add decals then replace. That is the only way I have found to get them the closest to being right.   But I have been messing with them half my life now
These are Ron's White background decals No matter what you do .....you will never get them to come up exactly in line everytime you reset the unit, it was built to run and reset, run and reset..... not reset, reset, reset, etc.

Welcome. The Wayne 80 and MS 80 are the same pumps. Wayne bought out Martin & Schwartz in the 50's and just rebranded the pump Wayne. Parts are interchangeable. If you want your computer rebuilt to perfection, do yourself a favor and ship it to Joe Yocom. He does a fine job and is a good guy as well. Good luck, Paul www.severngaspumps.com

The Wayne or M&S 80 series has 23 different pumps. The 1T-Z (that's a 1 not an I) means it was a standard computing pump with a cable pull hose and a Gilbert & Barker meter.
I have color ads, color sales literature and a parts manual available for this pump. It is also shown on pages 331 to 333 of my Gas Pump Identification book.
