Hi All, New to the forum and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what this drum and pump is worth. I bought it in Arkansas last year. It seems to be in excellent condition. There are some dates stamped on top. The top one is hard to read, but below that it says APR 27, 1909 and below that DEC 12, 1911. If anyone has any info, please email me at oldhotrodder1@yahoo.com or call me at 912-278-1314. Thanks!

I HAVE NO CLUE AS TO VALUE.
I KNOW I FOUND ONE OUT ALONG A FARM DIRT ROAD A COUPLE YEARS AGO FROM THE SAME COMPANY AND DIFFERENT IN STYLE. TO THIS DAY I STILL HAVEN'T GONE BACK THERE TO GET IT OR EVEN SEE IF IT'S STILL THERE.

The pump portion, I gave around $60 for one in Aug. Mine is a rotary dispensing pump with return, instead of the up-down draw pump as yours is.
As to the barrel, sorry I have no idea.

I would say the drum is worth $25.00 to $35.00. I have seen them for sale but don't anyone who has bought one. This one has been in the family since the 1950's.

I paid something like $3 for mine.It doesn't have a pump. They usually go for $5 to $10 at farm auctions.

I paid something like $3 for mine.It doesn't have a pump. They usually go for $5 to $10 at farm auctions. Same here in Wisconsin. $15-$20. Very common. I know one guy that has like 50 of them. He picks them up at farm auctions too. Here they use them for wood burner heaters. You buy a kit with four legs, a door and a chimney flange. Put some fire brick or sand in the bottom and they last for years...... They make excellent heaters.

Thanks for all the input, guys. There's a ton of great info on this site! Can anyone explain the significance of the date stamps?
