Hello everyone, I am still gathering up parts for my Erie 748-10 (Thought it was a 77 at first) pump I am restoring, and I have a question for anyone who can help me. I am looking for the correct Erie ID Tag for my pump. The one on my pump is ruined, but I was able to get the numbers off the tag to have engraved on a new one. The only tags I have been able to find are the smaller brass ones, and my pump should have the larger black and silver tag. I would appreciate any help in finding a seller who has the correct tags.

Also, as an update on my restoration, I have decided not to use the Tresler Comet brand that is on the pump, but I have not completely decided what brand to go with yet. I will try and upload a photo this weekend so everyone can see what I am starting with.

Thanks, and Happy New Year everyone.

What you might do is to try and find someone who has a 748 with a readable ID tag and ask them to take a picture of it. Clean up the picture and size it correctly and take it to someone who makes trophies and ask them to make a laser copy for you.

That is a great idea, if there is anyone out there that has a pump like mine and could post a picture of their ID tag, I would really appreciate it. My tag is black and silver, and show all of the patient numbers that were held on the pump in each of the countries that the pump was sold in, and at the bottom shows the info for Underwriters Laboratories. Any help would be great, maybe from an Erie 77, Erie 748, etc.

Also, more details to come on my restoration, as I am building a replacement for the light manifold, as I don't want to deal with the stuff that was put in the manifold that has PCB's.

I make an aluminum ID that's roughly 4 1/4" tall by 3 7/8" wide.

Do you happen to have an image of it? If it is the one I am looking for, I would love to order one. Thanks.
