It's hard to tell in this resized pix but those are Texaco Star and Skychief globes on the pumps, one of which is a Tok 39. The bikes are 1950 FLs and a '42 45" flatty.

Trivia, If the description said Panheads and a 45 & any of those were 49 or48 FL's (which they are not)

How would you easily be able to tell: #1 the 48 and, #2 the 49 ..provided it was the same pose and clarity and the bikes were stock..any color paint on tanks and fenders.

Also what 2 displacements could they be and when did that change???

'49 is the first year of the Glide front end , in that year only the lower(aluminum) legs were painted black, also the filler caps for the forks had either a cover or the whole top was different, the went up in the middle, a distinct dome or nipple similar to the old derby covers. Really hard to find them.
Was this a postcard on ebay??, think I have seen it before...dodogas

Hey Morgan,

I saw those to. I figured I'd post up the link of all this guy's pictures. These are the coolest pictures of the coolest guys. These guys put modern stunt riders to shame. I'm a motorcyclist myself (cafe all the way) and couldn't believe these pictures made it through the days. There has to be a couple more guys on this board that can appreciate these! Even if they don't all have gas pumps in them.

The link will take you to better quality pictures:
