It would be a shame not to save the original part of the building---old gas stations are disappearing fast in our "tear it down" mentality. That building could be disassembled and probably fit into a 40 foot semi-trailer and be rebuilt somewhere else.
Once it's destroyed--it's gone forever!

Thanks for the encouraging words, EJC. I have no intention of tearing down the Gulf filling station part of the building. I'd like to see it restored and available for public viewing, ideally on its present site, and if not, then relocated. A Happy New Year To You and Yours, AJ
