As most of you know I am one of the contributing editors for the "Check the Oil" magazine.

Ron T. has been contibuting articles, many of which have also appeared in PCM, about oil bottles, but no one has ever written an article about where or who first decided to put oil in bottles. I have an article coming up that answers that question, and also will show many of the racks, and identify who made them.

If you don't subscribe to CTO, I urge you to subscribe, I write some great articles.

No 401k or retirement plans back then either. When powerine was bought out in the 1940's they gave less then 10 employees any $$ to retire...
