Hello,

Does anyone know what this old sign is worth? Recieved an e-mail about an auction that has it, curious about history and possible value. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Independent oil co. Is from Tulsa. Sign was used 1925-1930. The 30" ethyl is common, the 30" with "I" is hard to find, they also had a 48". These signs are rare but can be periodically found in collector's circles.

Are you near Hiawatha, KS? I would think it could be reasonable, as it appears to be the only sign at the auction.

The auction owners (Bill & Bonnie) told me, so I would lean towards believing them over the someone...

Now I'm curious to know what you heard. Please advise.
