This pump has been discussed on here before. I think it was listed on ebay during the last discussion. Some question as to if it was a NOS in the crate pump. Inside nozzle receiver painted green was one issue and also the retractor cable bezel and off/on lever painted white. Maybe someone can find the old post on this.

...possibly a Bennett rebuild/reimage...looks like the sight glass has been blocked off as well...and there's the fact that the make of pump is a little too early for the paint scheme, i.e., a true NOS Sinclair pump of that vintage would have a Power-X or later H-C scheme, at least...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

looks restored in a older cardboard box.
wouldnt they have crated it in wood? if it was truly NOS
Did they come plain from the factory and were "finished" locally where they were delivered-in the color/signage of the brand/station?
What was the process?

I'm thing it was a factory rebuild and boxed up.It was in northern Wisconisn,Tomahawk. There was a local Sinclair jobber in town back in the day,I've run into alot of Sinclair in that area.I will be up there this weekend and know who had it but not sure where it went I will try to find out. Joe
