I won this on Ebay and I can't find any info or time these were in use.It has a light on the positive clamp and a grounding probe and not sure what it was used for.I guess it was for testing polarity. The box was coated with rubberized paint like undercoating.Must have an upscale Sunoco cause when I worked at one we just grabbed a charged battery and jumper cables

Would have to guess that it's more a recent item used by service truck/tow for easy quick jump starts. Sure beats re-rolling 20-30' of jumper cables.
Looks like the carrying strap is missing.

The strap was broke, should not be a problem as look like a modern battery strap.Autozone has lots of cores.
