Just a couple of quick questions:

1. Did all 15" lenses for a metal body globe have notches for a glass body, or were they 'notchless' and

2. What exactly is a 'non-fired' or 'non'baked' lens?? Can you tell by easily scratching off the paint?

I've never seen a notched 15" lens. The 15" glass bodies use a retaining ring very similar to the 13 3/8" gill bodies.
The only notches I've seen on 15" lenses is the V shaped notch at the bottom of most lenses. A few have the V notch at the top!

Paint usually flakes off of NON-FIRED/BAKED lenses.
Most are in bad shape.
