What is size? And why would a pump plate be two sided?

To cut down on the use of sheet metal. When one side fades, chips and gets worn...just flip it over! Wa-la...new pump plate ready to go. LOL!

It would seem odd that it has only two mounting holes at the top. Looks more like a hanging sign to me

Good looking sign, what are the dimensions? I find it hard to believe that it was a pump plate as well.

That peticular Richfield was probably hung off of a pipe like hanger beside or perhaps in front of a dispenser to designate Ricfield gasoline ............. Shell had similar signs too. Ed Shaver

The size would fit a pump but theres no mounting holes where it could have been used as a pump plate? My guess is that it was part of a larger display.
