Can light scuffing on old, original porcelain signs be polished to restore a bright finish or at least improve it? Or, is it best to leave well-enough alone?

There is no known method to restore the original lustre on a porcelain sign but if you find a way, please let us know!

You can improve the shine thru use of a paint type clear coat or even total restoration but both options greatly reduce the value of the sign. Use a wax based product such as "Howards Feed & Wax for a temporary fix!
