Went on the road for a mega pick which ended up being a COMPLETE BUST!! Flash saved the day by suggesting we stop by a friend of his on the way home and it proved to be a good move.

First a popcorn vending machine that reminded me of a pump

So while this pick didn't pan out the way it was supposed to, it still proved to be a ok day

Flash was disappointed too after our first stop. The only thing I was able to pick was an identicial looking popcorn machine. I don't think many of these machines exsist, but you are guaranteed to find one in Illinois and Wisconsin...lol. You pick the movie and bring plenty of dimes for each bag of popcorn you buy.

In the meantime I need to stay focused on the NOS Socony gas globe in it's original packaging, and a Delco porcelain sign with the old United Motors Service car at the bottom. It's still OUT THERE...

My personal favorite of your road trip pick is the little guy with the great smile. BTW nice Popcorn Machine!

Kinda wonderin' about that Effanbee motor oil title. Hope it's a company with the owners names starting with F and B, 'cause it looks like someone got mad when the gave it that name. shocked

Cool looking can tho...

Hey DB,
You haven't been by in a while. I've got nearly everything unpacked! Just in time to repack it up and move again!
