I have had this kicking around for over 30 years, never did find out what exactly it is, My guess is some type of rivet finishing tool. I fiqured with all the knowledge on here in all categories someone will know or better yet someone has used one.

1st thought was a rivet set, but the bolts make no sense? does say round head and brazier which are types of rivets.

Those are rivet sets, with interchangeable heads. I've never seen anything like that before. We always had a fully stocked tool crib at Northrop.

Could it be to set rivets on aluminum panels, such as Airstream trailers, Airplanes, etc. to give a finished look. I know they make such a tool but don't know what it looks like.

The heads on rivet sets are polished to begin with. (I'm certain though, that somebody will mention some sort of obscure rivet, for some sort of strange application, that did not require a polished set.) A correctly driven rivet does not need to be "finished". However, an incorrectly driven rivet does need to be replaced. That means drilling it out and replaceing it, not as easy as it sounds.

The shortest drive in the top box, has a smaller shank than the set in the middle. This is for two different rivet gun sizes. The actual head is replaceable for different sizes of rivets for each set. The longest set in the bottom box, is a hand held set, used in the same manner as a punch or chisel.

Actually, its quite an interesting piece.
