Would like to buy the following porcelain Phillips 66 sign which is approximtely 24" wide and 12" high.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Larry--I have always wanted that sign too and there is a lot of controversy over the repops that are out there. There were some undated repops that are old enough to start looking like possible originals. I have decided that I will never buy one of those signs without some expert help!
I love that sign but reproductions really p**s me off!

Thanks for the heads up on repops. The sign in the photo I posted is in a automotive/petroliana museum which is all going to be auctioned and closed soon. I was checking around about the availability of this Phillips sign because I'm not sure if I will be able to attend that auction. An of course, no assurance to get the winning bid.

This sign, except that all fastening holes have chipped porcelain, is in very good condition as you can see from the colors and sheen.

I know there are some repop signs and gas pumps in the museum but this Phillips sign looks very authentic and the museum has been around many, many years.

Thanks again, and I'll let you know how it all plays out.

Larry
