Ran into an interesting pre-visible pump in very good condition. It looks very much like the Bowser Red Sentry curb pump. Questions; years of manufacture? what type of globe was on stalk? It has faded red paint, were they originally painted? Owner wants offer, ball park value? Serial number was 28761.

The G&B T-88 (which I identify in my new gas pump identification book) is a faster version of the T-8, introduced around 1907-1908. Most pumps were painted red when they left the factory during this period. It is valued at around $600.00, but it has limited appeal. Most collectors collect visible, clock and compter meter pumps. A few collect this type of pump. My book show the type of globe. For more information on the book see my website: www.crspub.com
