I have exhausted all my avenues I know of looking for a bonnet (dome) for this pump. Have any of you had a good or bad expierence using the repop bonnet you can puchase from one of the gas vendors.

thanks for the info.........

Ron

I suggest that you Save your money & WAIT IT OUT for an Original, YOU'LL NEVER be Satisfied w/ a REPOP Bonnet. In MY opinion, they're not even close.
Keep checking w/ tbuckles/pumpdump & every couple of weeks Bump a WANTED To Buy ad here.

IF you have to get something on top NOW, I suggest using any Original [any company] so that when you DO get an original you'll have something that WILL sell instead of being Thrown Away.

OR

Find a Restaurant Supply & see what BOWLS they have that might be close for a temporary fix.

I totally agree with DB.

I ordered a reproduction dome top for a Clear Vision visible pump. When I received it; that's exactly what I received a large stainless steel salad bowl that had a globe mount bolted to it.

Needless to say, it didn't look right and I didn't feel right knowing what it was.

I've had a few G&B Bonnets & pumps over the years BUT have never been real fond of ANY G&B [or BENNETT pumps!]. Until I had to move out of last storage yard I did have a G&B bonnet, but sold it to someone that bought some other parts.

I'd have thought you would have been the national spokesman favoring the Bennett.
