I've never seen a sign like this. It's in a wood frame with feet and could be displayed wherever desired. I believe it's from the '30s. The wood is all there in pretty good condition and the double sided sign is about perfect with one pea size ding. If you look really close on the R in Tires you can see it. What's it worth?

...very cool! how large is the entire piece?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

That would be a big train layout, the sign is sitting on what looks to be 2X4's

That is one COOL AWESOME sign! A true survivor.

Looks like a mini-me Billboard sign.

The sign is not double sided, it should be 2 signs mounted back-to-back. Each sign is worth between $700-$900.

Overall the sign is roughly 60" wide and 40" tall. It doesn't seem heavy enough to be two signs but you sure have me wondering. I'm going to have to figure out how to confirm that without doing permanent damage to the sign. I would assume the wood frame has to add something to the value and the sign is worth more together even if it is two signs.

...doesn't matter if it's two signs or not (although I'm pretty sure it IS two signs)...the value is in the whole piece...it's a beauty...if I had it, I wouldn't do a damn thing to it, but keep it indoors, sit a comfortable chair in front of it, crack a cold beer and enjoy it...that's a keeper...

Just checked. It is a single, double sided sign.

Even more reason to crack a cold beer open and celebrate/enjoy the sign!
