I purchased a Standard Oil Torch Sign on a pole (approx 15' tall). Any value to leaving it complete - Pole, Sign and lights, or can I cut the pole off and discard? I really only want the sign. If I cut the pole off should I leave the sign in the steel frame ? Suggestion ?

Hello,

From my experience, the poles are not worth much maybe 100 to 300 depending on who is there and what want to use it for. Most of the ones I have seen on auction sales go for scrap iron or a business may want it to put up their homemade sign. I have never seen one of those poles at a swap meet cause they are too big and heavy to move. Hope this helps!!
