I was watching some an online auction today and saw a mobil globe with 16 1/2 go for $2000 CDN, is that right for this globe???

NO!!!! Only unless that globe had some sort of PERSONAL connection to the buyer. It is worth about 850 max.

I happened to see that too...it didn't even look like a clean one....crazy....I'm glad I didn't bother to register. How about the fantasy Firechief one piece for over $600!It looks to me like there was reproduction stuff mixed in and many bidding don't know or care what they are doing.....(other than paying too much)? Also the estimates on value seem to be done by a very unknowlegabile person. Way high or way low on a lot of stuff that I looked at.
