My recently acquired 36b has a silver dollar sized chunk missing out of the side of the base. I am wondering if anyone out there has a junk broken base that I could use to repair my base. The guy who just repaired a cracked Wayne 60 base thinks he could fuse a piece of cast into place if we had a like base to use as a donor.

I know there are replacement and used bases out there but it would be a crime to junk this one if it could be repaired easily.

Seems like I see bases change hands occasionally so I know there must be some junk ones around and if anyone is like me, the bad one is in the pile somewhere and not scrapped.

I need just the side part of a base and the welder will do the rest. A sawzall should easily cut a section loose.

Thank everyone for looking

SW

Scott--Don't waste your time and money. I have 2 perfect bases on hand and I can deliver one to Iowa Gas for $50 and all you have to do is clean it up and paint it! I'm sure someone from your area is coming?

Hi Keith,

I will take it but will you ship ? I do not know of anyone going to Iowa gas.

Do you have much in the way of parts. Other than the 36b, I have a long list of needs.

Thank you

SW

Yes, I can ship it, but I bet it will run $40 or a little better with UPS? I might not be able to get to it until after Iowa Gas, but I can try. Better give me your address in case I can get to it in the next couple of days.
I don't have a large selection of parts but I do have a few things for Tok 39's and Wayne 505's.
If you have a long list, the best man to contact is tbuckles on this site. He has a couple hundred pumps that are being parted out. His email is tjbuckles@embarqmail.com

Scott--If I'm going to send this to you, I will need an address. I goofed up and I only have 1 base and another Old Gasser would like to have it, so I need to know if I'm shipping this to you or not??
Thanks--KEVIN
