Hello everyone. I joined a month or so ago, made a few posts with good results. That being said, I am so disappointed in reading some of the posts. So much bickering going on here. I realize it's only a few, and that most of you are helpful and knowledgeable, but in one month I am already tired of reading the posts where people publicly put other people down, or argue over something stupid. I asked myself "Do I really want to stay here?" ... That was answered when I met 2 wonderful fellows from here....But, I have also been treated like a piece of ***** at a show, it was like dealing with a used car salesman. I hope the latter is the not the norm, I don't want to be driven from this hobby because of a few bad eggs....OK, with all that being said, I am from South Jersey. I have been collecting petroliana items for 3-4 yrs. I don't collect anything in particular (yet), just whatever I find around here where I live. I have 8 gas pumps, some signs, and misc items. I enjoy the sight, but keep the bickering down!
