Just found a pair of original Wayne 60's that I'm going to restore back to Texaco and would like to see how others have painted their Wayne 60's in Texaco Fire Chief & Sky Chief. Please post any pictures you have showing Wayne 60's painted in various paint schemes. I'm leaning towards a two tone finish on each pump or maybe factory colors with some accents up top and would like to see how some of you may have varied the layout of your paint?

Thanks in advance. G.

(found these last weekend and pick them up this week)

Man those look great. Call me old fashioned but I wouldn't touch either one! Nice find.

cool Both Narrow Bodies. STRANGE GLOBE HOLDERS!! I'd leave Sky Chief original, replace the glass and give a good cleaning. Restore the Fire Chief if you want a project.

Went to pick up the pumps today and took a couple pictures before hauling them home. Here's a better shot of the pair I bought. Both are complete with functional VR' that are free and moving. Should be easy restorations considering how straight and rust free they both are, but will need a set of skins for the silver one as they were robbed long ago.

Do them all silver and all red maybe black bases. It may not sound good but they will look good.

I'm assuming these would have been done in decals back then with black border T rather than pump plates if a guy was trying to keep them correct? If so, I'll post an ad in the Want Ads to try and find some NOS decals from someone's Texaco hope chest. LOL

Seattle...Arizona...Texas...Cali...

You guys are all killing me here. It's 26 degrees, snowing and all we can do up here is hibernate all winter and run our Eskimo noses together to keep warm. bahahahahaha

Seriously...This is when we restore pumps. All winter while the girls are making new Moccasins for us. lol.
