It reminds me of my Gilbert/Barker Mod#105. Obviously European made, but quite similar. Where is the professor?

I haven't seen a Bennett with the shade over the meter face. There are a number of companies that did use that shade setup, most often seen are various Erie models. A Ljungmans clockface has that shade over the meter. Could it be one of their other models? For those readers who aren't familiar, Marktplaats is a Netherlands eBay site. ------------------ Jim "Oldgas" PottsYour host and moderator[This message has been edited by Oldgas (edited 11-04-2006).]

My guess. Probably a G&B, they had a plant in England I believe. Bennett did do a great overseas business (and they still do). I have no record of them ever having a plant over there. Jack Sim Author, Gas Pump Identification book

I don't see any clues as to what it could be. I have had a lot of clockfaces, still do, and I do not see anything that links it to any american pump mfr. There are a few books out there dedicated to foreign pumps, I would look for some of them to get info.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I bought the pump yesterday
I found out the company who made this fuel pump. It was indeed a European Company called Avery Hardoll
The origins of Avery Hardoll Fluid Management products and services can be traced back as far as 1932 and the early years of petrol pump design and manufacture. A high point in this long history was the display of Avery Hardoll petrol pumps at the Festival of Britain in 1951. A few years later, the company expanded into the design and production of bulkmeters, couplings, valves and associated fluid management products and services, resulting in a brand name that is valued throughout the world.
